Rayz Rayl is at the Horseshoe Southern Indiana Circuit event to play poker and win money. However, The difference between Rayl and most poker players is he isn’t playing for just himself.
Rayl is donating 25% of all his winnings at the Series, including the Main Event, to a friend. That friend is an 8-year old named Aiden.
Aiden was diagnosed in 2007 with High Risk Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. He won his battle with the disease after two years but relapsed in July of this year. Aiden and his family have been living in the hospital since then.
As Aiden’s battle continues, he now faces 100 weeks of chemotherapy. To help out both Aiden and his family, as well as raise awareness of childhood cancer, Rayl is playing poker with a purpose.
Rayl finished 17th in the $365 No-Limit Hold ’em Re-Entry event for $2,330 and looks to add to his total winnings today as he takes his seat in the Main Event.
